The Terre Nere company is located in Castelnuovo dell’Abate, south-east of the slope of the hill on top of which the Castello della Velona stands. The 10 hectares of vineyards are inserted in a context of exquisite beauty, surrounded by woods and streams, caressed by a perennial breeze coming from Monte Amiata and Monte Nero.
You can admire the features of an uncontaminated nature, with an ideal microclimate very important for the formation of great aromas in wines. The stony soils with the classic dark gray color of the galestro, take on black outlines with the rain, thus giving the company the name "Terre Nere".
